Recent Blue screen trouble

PC:
mobo: Asus p5e
cpu: Intel E8500 (oc 3.8)
GPU: nvidia GTX 260
Ram: 4 GB OCZ Reaper 1066

I have an AC freezer 7 92mm fan and heatsink w/ Arctic silver 5 coolant applied on the cpu.

I originally OC'd my PC to 3.5, as this is the first time I've ever done it. It seemed pretty stable so i bumped it to 3.8. I ran prime95 stress tests for 18-20 hours and everything seemed fine. Lately it's been crashing though, usually during Assassin's Creed, also with sims 2 though, but now as often as in AC.

My CPU hits 45 C and my GPU is at 59 C under load.

Ok, I think that's everything. My question is, what exactly should I do to remedy this situation? do I need to increase some of the voltages? should I back off? any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks,

Windows 10: Blue screen asking for what language to use

Apparently a new upgrade has caused a blue screen asking for what language to use.

I can't us arrow or keys to select. I am very unhappy with this problem. I have a touch screen

HP computer with a wireless keyboard and mouse. I use this computer for my business. I recently

upgraded to windows 10 from windows 7.

What does the Bsod say? It might be video card related.. well, Driver related? what video card driver are you using on your GTX 260

 

I just noticed I don't have the newest driver. It really sucks not having the internet in my room. I currently have the May release. I'll try updating that.

Also, I can't really see what the blue screen says. I always see memdump and some locations in memory, but I can't see much more. it automatically restarts my comp in about 2 seconds.

 

Goto advanced system properties and remove the check mark from the "Automatically Restart" click ok and the next time you can read it, then reboot yourself*Smile

yeah, that BSOD really sucks, rarely I have it with windows vista from time to time, but using XP my system stays fully stable, even in hardcore gamming sessions.

 

o ya, also, I'm running 32-bit XP, if it's relavent. Also, is there a way a to read past system logs? I see in the advanced settings menu that you can set it to dump system logs into a file, but I don't know where to get it.

Overclock / Ram / Sound related Issue. Google is your friend, young padewan.

 

Yes sir I would start by nocking the frequency of the ram down and see what happens .If it is the ram which it probably is then you can start to fine tune with volts and ram settings.

 

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL can be solved with a quick driver change or a downclock or increase in voltage simply meaning its unstable cpu and or gpu

apart from that if its not those 2 it can be anything, psu, bad ram, sound card issues, motherboard itself, ports and hardware assignments

 

Thanks for all the suggestions; I'll look it up some more. All I've seen so far from google is "your ram's bad" and "reformat and start all over", but I'm sure there's gotta be a little better of a way.

You can try running memtest, but first id try downclocking.
