New 4850 skipping/jumping when OC'ed.

    Temps are fine, never gets more than a few degrees above 60 on GPU and 70 on what GPU-Z calls MEMIO.

    I'm pretty sure the sound is coming from my VRMs, so I might look into getting some cooling for them.

    Lol, rename furmark to something like ETQW or something and watch the problem go away! *Cool New 4850 skipping/jumping when OC'ed. :cool:
    Didn't notice you have the problem in Vantage too. Your RAM may be too far overclocked.

    its the power, or some sort of bottleneck. with my 3850 when i put the memory over 1100 i start getting lower framerates than stock

    I'll keep an eye on the RAM in that case, and I'm definately upgrading the power supply before the end of the upcoming holidays. I'm surprised I havn't had to up the core voltage yet, so I think I might have a fairly good clocking card (just need to get it stable). *Smile New 4850 skipping/jumping when OC'ed. :)
