I moved my computer to a different room that is much further from the wireless router and in a location where it is difficult to run CAT6 cable. I bought the top of the line Asus PCE-AC88 wireless card after having dropouts on two other wifi cards. Over the past week, the device seems to work reasonably well and has 100% uptime so far. The issue is the monster 4x4 antenna and cable this device comes with generates a good amount of RF noise which is picked up by my microphone, bluetooth...
