Mickey: No video output on Asusu ROG Strix scar III laptop-Any comments?

A laptop turned up on my doorstep yesterday, a nice young chappy from Thialand brought me his Asus ROG STRIX SCAR III gaming laptop to have a look at. The first thing I noticed is the fan was running HARD after booting up and it was very hot in minutes.....
