Mickey: Is the need for PCIE 4.0 in Terms of Graphics Cards Really Several Years away?

Buildzoid thinks so. I'm inclined to disagree. Although it is true that there are no end user GPUs requiring gen 4 at the domestic level this doesn't mean that the system cannot benefit over all from PCIe Gen 4. Bandwidth is bandwidth after all. If the system benefits from having more bandwidth even the graphics card will work better than a system that is starved for bandwidth.
