Mickey: "Intel first customer of TSMC's 3nm, not Apple — production is advanced"

TSMC is working hard with its 3nm nodes and even smaller.
Previously, Apple was the largest buyer of wafers, but according to the Taiwanese United Daily News, it will initially be Intel for the 3nm nodes.

Intel would have gotten hold of the majority, while Apple is known to pay a hefty premium to have the latest nodes at its disposal.
According to the Taiwanese site, the first deliveries to Intel should start as early as May 2022, while mass production should start in July.
