I just received my new XPS8940 a few hours ago. I ran the diagnostic HWiNFO64 and everything looked completely normal...except. The embedded controller Temp7 is 248 degrees Fahrenheit, vs 110 degrees or so for the other seven Temps. Is this a disaster? A faulty sensor? Should I be worried? Is this a reason to contact tech support for warranty claim? Thanks for any help you can provide...I'm really at a loss for what this means. Regards, Dan Weiterlesen...
