Mickey: Expected Lifespan Of A UPS Battery Backup UNIT? (Not The Battery)

Maybe a difficult question: Can anyone give an evidence/experience-backed answer to what the lifespan should be for the main unit of a UPS/Battery Backup? Assume it has been kept in ideal conditions and not abused in any way, and has had regular battery replacements.
