My Asus VG278QR monitor will for some reason only display 120hz when it is a 165hz monitor. I understand that I need a DP cable to be able to see 165hz however I connect the monitor to a 120hz gaming laptop (Asus Rog Strix G531) and my laptop doesn't actually have a display port other than a HDMI port.
