Mickey: Why hardware prices gone drastically up recently? Eg: Ram, SSD. Hdd

It been a long while since I made a tech purchase. I thought of buying 64GB ddr4 to upgrade but the only rams in stock are more the price I paid 5 years ago. I thought maybe it time ddr5 and a new system. Take a look at prices again its higher too.

Looked at ssd also the same story there... where all the cheap sata ssd go? They are either out of stock or high in price too.
I thought maybe I could get a 2TB.
