Apart from my desktop system, I have a 2012 built Sony Vaio laptop, which were running fine until 2 years ago when the GPU failed and reballing temporarily fixed. After sometime it again failed but this time, I did the reflow which could be regarded as partial success since it has been working until yesterday. It looks as though this procedure would be my routine if I willing to use this old system which I don't need. So if you were me, what would you do with this old system? Sell? Donate...
