Mickey: Upgrading to an X3D need some advice

Hi guys, Im planning to upgrade my Ryzen 3600 to a 5500X3D. Could you guys tell me what things I should keep in mind? so far Ive read that I shouldnt use the High Performance power plan (Im assuming not the Ultimate one either), and Ive also seen that I should disable PBO. Is that true? What else should I know?

My motherboard is a B450M DS3H and the BIOS version im using already supports that CPU. Should I still update to the latest version, or is it not necessary?
