So my cell Optiplex 980 just went out, it's dead and doesn't post, I texted the ram it's fine and I pulled the i7 870 out and tested it in a buddies wife's comp and it still work. Psu is also fine. I did plob in an i3 and that posts so I'm think the vrms are degraded. In my shoes would you invest in a used 1156 board, nothing fancy of course it's just for htpc duties. Right now I have an older Vostro 220 hooked up with a core 2 quad and it's doing fine except on the blurays. Total specs... To fix or not to fix Weiterlesen...
