Hey, I bought my current system back in late 2017 with a Ryzen 5 1600X and 16 GB of RAM. In May this year I upgraded the BIOS for Zen 3 support and bought a Ryzen 7 5700X and 32 GB of RAM. For a couple of months, everything ran smoothly and the new CPU brought a nice +60% performance boost in ST and more in multi-threaded workloads.
