Hopefully this will be an easily answered question but I just built a new system with a 1TB Samsung 970 Evo Plus nVMe as its boot drive. Once I had Windows in it and installed the Samsung nVMe driver on, I installed a 2nd nVMe of the same type into the system. In Windows Device Manager & in Task Manager, the first drive correctly shows up as a “Samsung 970 Evo Plus 1TB” but the 2nd drive shows up as a “Samsung 970 1TB nVMe SCSI”.
