Mickey: New pc monitor question 4K vs QHD

Good day

atm im doing office work, browsing etc. on a 4k 28inch monitor asus from 2016 I switched back to it as a recent QHD 32inch monitor from LG didnt that clearly let
me read text. The 28inch monitor despite being almost 10 years older as the QHD is superior in image quality.
Of course this is due to higher pixel count 4K vs QHD.
But as the QHD is about half price as the 4K i wonder if I just grabbed a kind of not the best QHD with clearest image.
