Mickey: General PC instability / performance issues / lag / fps drops

Hi all! Sorry in advance if I posted this in the wrong section, I'm new around here.

I'm currently running an i7 6700k with an AIO cooler, 16GB of RAM at 2133Mhz, and an EVGA ACX 2.0+ 980Ti.

I recently upgraded from a single 4k60hz monitor to a dual monitor setup (adding a 1080p165hz monitor and setting the resolution on the 4k monitor to 1080p) but have started experiencing big performance issues.
