Mickey: Does anyone have a Fractal Design Define S or case with the same 3.5" drive mount?

Have a fairly specific question in regards to the Fractal Design Define S and possibly another Fractal case if they use the same 3.5" HDD mounts. Is it possible to move the two rubberized noise dampeners / spacers for the screws to the rear position? Pictured here:

Tried pulling one apart from the front and back but it they are stuck together fairly tight. Are these non-removable? Just want to confirm before I destroy one of the mounts.
