Hi, Had this Epson ES-300W scanner that one day last week stopped working. The scanner software said something like 'Waiting for scanner' error message and in device manager would get 'Device identification not recognized' type error. So I tried the obvious steps of uninstalling the scanner and deleting driver, reinstalling software and tried different usb port. Even tried plugging it in to another PC and got same error.
